BCC 2026-27 EOI Form - Partnership Program

Before You Start

The Partnership Program supports organisations that make a significant, ongoing contribution to the Burnie community and align with the priorities of Making a Better Burnie 2044. Unlike annual grants, Partnership Agreements offer longer-term collaboration involving shared investment, mutual benefit and agreed outcomes, generally for a period of up to three years on a declining funding model.

This program suits organisations that: deliver significant, ongoing community benefit; align with Council priorities; and have strong governance and financial management. It's not a fit for one-off events or projects better suited to the Community Grants or Event Sponsorship programs. Council may redirect your application to one of these funding streams if it's a better match. (See the full Guidelines for more detail.)

Key dates: The closing date for Expressions of Interest is midnight Sunday 23 August 2026.

Eligibility

Before submitting your Expression of Interest, please read the 2026–27 Expression of Interest Guidelines - Partnership Program. This program suits organisations that deliver significant, ongoing outcomes for community benefit. Council officers may seek additional information, meet with applicants, or negotiate the scope and nature of a proposed partnership before making a recommendation to Council.
